Today’s Gospel repeats last week’s message of mercy. Jesus finds himself amid an angry crowd ready to condemn a woman caught in adultery. According to Jewish custom at that time, this woman should have been stoned to death to satisfy Mosaic Law. But Jesus extends mercy.
